Traveller Small Craft, Volume 1

Publisher: Mongoose

Small craft, spacecraft under 100 tons, are the workhorses of space travel, ferrying passengers and cargo from the surfaces of worlds to orbit, and back again. They handle the logistics of planetary exploration, bringing crews and equipment into the unknown. They are ubiquitous across almost every world of the Imperium, and while the standard designs of the Traveller Core books, predominate, there are many other craft, filling different niches in the spacefaring ecosystem.

This product contains the images, details, and deckplans for six small craft, ranging in size from 10 tons to 30 tons. There are two designs of each size, one low tech, TL 9-10, and the other high tech, TL 14-15. All are designed as passenger and cargo vessels, though some are armed, and are capable of serving in a combat role if required.

Murder at the Motel Zotel: Troika! Murder Mystery

  • 28 Pages of Troika! Weirdness
  • 6 Unique Backgrounds
  • 2 Trippy Locations for Troika! City
  • Random Hotel Room Generator
  • 18 New Items

The Paper-Boys and the Capheads sent representatives to the Motel Zotel’s Penthouse to make a simple deal: Three Chests of Silver Pence in exchange for a Suitcase full of Uncut Dreams. Now both gang’s pointmen are dead in the Penthouse, and the suitcase and the money are both missing. Each gang accuses the other of treachery. They’ll tear the Motel Zotel room from room if this mystery isn’t solved!

Murder at the Motel Zotel is written by Austin Holm, author of Drawn from the Margins and Puppets of Beeglemaus. This homage to the original Troika book delivers a strange, satisfying, and probably violent execution of the classic “who done it” format.

We built this for the Troika! City Jam, you can get the six unique backgrounds as the demo product Backgrounds from the Motel Zotel below.

Turn-on.

August 30, 2022: See Steve At DragonCon!

A legendary Labor Day tradition is back this year, with DragonCon in Atlanta, GA, September 1-5! Steve Jackson will be at the show to host events on game design and show off some of our new and upcoming releases. You can find a full schedule of events on the DragonCon site. He will be signing – and showing off a cool new thing – at the Bard’s Tower booth on the second floor of the dealer area.

I’d highly recommend the design panels with Steve to any aspiring, new, or even veteran tabletop game designer. With over 40 years of experience, he’s seen just about everything in the design space. Having an opportunity to learn from a master is rare, so take advantage of that if you can. And his What’s New panel on Saturday will give you a sneak peek into our future releases (and there will be one bit of really BIG news), so there’s something for everyone.

If you’re in Atlanta this weekend, make sure to go by and see Steve at DragonCon!
